Payment Options – Choose How To Pay
I offer four payment options giving you a way to pay that suits your financial planning. All options include an initial payment followed by 12 monthly payments. The more you pay at the start, the less it costs over the first year. I DO NOT charge VAT.
I'm quick, professional and reliable - and your website will be to!
This is the most popular question - and rightly so. Here's a few reasons why a FIBDES.co.uk website is a good choice: -
Speedy Turnaround. A website you don't have to build, think about or waste time working on. I do it all for you, and quickly.
Responsive Design. A website all your customers can visit and use, no matter what they are viewing it on.
Modern Branding. A website design that makes your business and branding look totally up-to-date.
Fast To Download. A website that downloads quickly so your customers won't hit the 'back button' and leave.
Reliable Hosting. A website that's online 24/7 ensuring whenever your customers are looking, it is there.
Easy To Use. A website that's easy to use with clear menus and buttons so your customers know what to click next.
Easy To Update. A website that's easy to update using the world's most popular website software.
Ready For Search Engines. A website that's ready to be found by the search engines, and your customers.
Safe & Secure. A website that has the latest technologies applied to keep it secure and your customers will feel safe.
Owned By You. A website that, at the end of the initial 12 month period, you will own (not just rent).
How many pages do I get with my website?
Initially five, but with a blog, many more
With 20+ years experience designing websites for a range of clients, including many small businesses, the most often required pages of a website are 'Home', 'About', 'Services', 'Gallery' and 'Contact'. These are the pages that are initially set up for you - that cover the basics of a simple website. Once the website is live you can also add as many blog posts as you want, and update the pages that I have made for you.
The home page automatically grabs content from the other pages and is laid out to capture the interest of your customers and to get them to click through the website.
The about page is to let your customers know more about you, your team and history.
The services page is to let your customers easily find out the information they need about your services (or products) to make a decision about buying from you.
The gallery page lets you display your business's projects, services and products and includes a 'lightbox' feature that shows the gallery images in a really nice slideshow design - really easy to use.
The contact page allows your customers to get in touch with you and comes with a form, that your customers can easily use to email you, as well as a Google Map so they know where you are.
Why are there only 4 designs to choose from?
I've researched and individually cherry picked them, so you don't have to.
If you've ever looked at choosing a theme for a website then you have an idea how long that process can take. There are literally hundreds of thousands of themes to choose from online - and sifting through these themes to find one that really looks like it is *the part* can take DAYS, and that's before you've actually tested it to see it works for you. Once you've chosen your theme (assuming you're doing it yourself) then you have to work out how to get your content into it (which can also take days). Importantly, choosing a theme is more than just finding something you like the look of - it's a careful balance of also checking that it works in all different devices (desktop, laptop, tablet, & phone), is supported by the designer, has good reviews and encouraging comments, and actually will look good when you've removed all the nice photos of the demo and added your content. I've taken all this potential head-hurting, time-gobbling process away (trust me - I've been through it quite a few times) and have carefully selected a handful of designs that look, perform and work really well for any type of business.
How long does it take to get my website?
Once you have chosen your design, and paid using your preferred payment option then you will be asked to fill in a form to send your content for each page of the website. Once I have received your content the average turnaround for the website to be made live is 1 week (or 5 working days). Sometimes this is less than 1 week, very occasionally it is more. If it is going to be more you will be contacted.
What do you need from me to make my website?
Logo, Content, Domain Name Information
When you are asked to fill in the form to send your content for each page of the website you will be asked for some general information about your business (business name, address & contact information), your branding (logo & any relevant colours), the content for each page, and your domain name information (if you have a domain name already). If you do not yet have a domain name then you will be asked for the domain name you wish to have registered for you (at an additional cost). You will also be asked a few general questions that will help me make sure your website is as accurate as possible.
Can you customise my design or revise my content?
Yes - but that will cost more
When you choose a design and pay then that design will determine the final 'look and feel' of your website, aside from any changes made to the colour scheme in-line with your branding. The content that is sent is considered final content and will be used for the design of the individual pages. Once the website is finished and live you will have login details that will allow you access to login and change any of your content. If you require a custom design service then I would be really happy for you to contact me via my website Fibonacci Designs for custom web design & consultation.
Will I be able to make updates to my website after it is published live?
Yes! WordPress is brilliant for that!
After the website goes live you will be provided with access to the 'Admin Area' of the website that will allow you to edit the content of the pages, as well as add new blog posts etc. There will be a set of 'How To' videos that will give you help with all of these aspects of updating your website.
What help can you give me with making changes to my website?
1 Month Free Email Support
After the website goes live, as well as the training videos included in your 'Admin area' you will be given 1 month's free support via email at the email address email@example.com. If you want support after the 1 month period then I offer Website Maintenance Plan options that can include updates to your website - just get in touch for more details.
How do I cancel?
Email me after your 12 months contract
All website design purchases are contracted to 1 year of payments following sign up and publication of the website to the live server. Once that period has been completed if you wish to cancel then simply email firstname.lastname@example.org with your request (the email needs to come from the same email address used for invoicing). 7 business days notification is required before your next due payment.
